The Jumping Cholla
One of the most remarkable qualities of the cholla plant is how it propagates. The Jumping Cholla (choy-ya) name comes from its ability for stems to easily cling—or seem to “jump”—when brushed and then take root wherever they land. Jumping Cholla Studio is a custom silversmith jewelry studio creating handmade sterling silver and copper wearable metal art. Like the cholla itself, my jewelry grows and branches with each new design, continually evolving in form, character, and uniqueness.

The Elements
>>> - \\ Art is My Life // - <<<
Bold. Expressive. Uniquely me.
Working in layered metals, natural stones, intricately stamped designs, and luminous gemstones, I create one-of-a-kind jewelry rooted in visual expression. Inspired by the vibrant colors, textures, and cultures of the Southwest—and the enduring beauty of Native American jewelry—my creativity flows from deep within. The hallmark of my work reigns true: beautiful, confident, and reserved. Art is my life, and making you feel beautiful is my purpose.

Meet the Artist
I have lived in Arizona for most of my life, and the beauty of its landscapes, natural wonders, and the rich cultures of the Southwest continue to inspire me. My creative journey began in childhood, learning and observing alongside my mother. Over the years, as my skills and vision have evolved, art has become not just my passion, but my way of life.
Jumping Cholla Studio is a reflection of this journey—an expression of place, experience, and cultural influence. I work primarily with heavier gauge sterling silver and copper, incorporating natural stones, gems, and found objects to create bold, one-of-a-kind pieces. The weight and composition of the metal, combined with intentional design and organic elements, create a sense of depth and presence—jewelry meant to be felt as much as it is seen, grounding the spirit and embracing the soul.
